As a premier, climate-controlled contract manufacturer specializing in CNC milling, turning, EDM machining, custom welding, and critical component reconditioning, we’re looking for an experienced Estimator & Account Manager with a strong precision machining background to help drive strategic growth and lasting customer partnerships.
The role plays a key part in evaluating opportunities, developing accurate and competitive quotations, and ensuring customer requirements align with our manufacturing capabilities.
Compensation
- Ranges from $25 per hour (intermediate Estimator) to $40 per hour (advanced Estimator); non-exempt FLSA class, or $52,000 to $83,200 annually.
- Based on qualifications, experience, and performance.

Your Mission
- Develop Winning Quotes: Review customer requests for quotation (RFQs) and prepare accurate, competitive estimates that support profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Plan Manufacturing Success: Identify materials, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing methods required to produce precision machined components and assemblies.
- Drive Customer Partnerships: Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, serving as a trusted resource throughout the quoting and production process.
- Support Operational Efficiency: Write and review routers, verify material requirements, and collaborate with production to align opportunities with available manufacturing capacity.
What You Bring to the Table
- Machining Expertise: Proven experience in CNC and/or manual contract manufacturing, precision machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and raw materials.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements. Experience in design engineering or demonstrated capabilities in a related field is considered an additional asset.
- ERP Experience: Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in a manufacturing environment.
- Quality Focus: Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D Quality Management Systems.
- Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship, a valid Virginia Driver’s License with a good driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen (including marijuana) are required.
