We are seeking experienced Dimensional Inspectors to strengthen our Quality Control Department and serve as key contributors to our commitment to precision and quality. Compensation
- Ranges from $25 to $38 per hour (hourly pay type; non-exempt FLSA class) or $52,000 to $79,040 annually.
- Based on performance, qualifications, and experience.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing, dimensional measuring, quality control, and/or machining experience required in a machine shop with Metrology and MSA preferred.
- Proficiency in assessing the geometric characteristics of precision machined parts. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) is a must.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as surface plate, height gage, indicators, calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, thread gages, Faro Arm, and CMM.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process, visual, and dimensional inspections of precision machined parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Interpret customer blueprints or drawings, identify improper callouts/datum structures, and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Identify and report non-conformances to uphold our high-quality standards.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm.
Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must pass criminal background check, drug test (to include marijuana), and provide updated copy of Motor Vehicle Report with a valid VA Driver’s License and good driving record with no major violations.
