Quoting Assistant

Position Summary

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the quoting team in all functions of the quoting process
  • Ability to learn & comprehend customer’s technical documentation
  • Assist with organizing office supplies
  • Answer all incoming calls, take messages, and/or transfer call in a polite & professional manner
  • Greet and register guests

Education/Experience:
  • Five or more years of administrative experience required
  • Manufacturing and/or machine shop industry experience required
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to learn & comprehend customer's technical documentation
  • Global Shop ERP Software or other ERP Software experience preferred
  • Ability to learn & utilize Advanced Planning Systems (APS) within the ERP System
  • Computer skills required (Microsoft Office Products)
Eligibility Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must pass background check & drug test
Salary Range:
  • $20 to $25 per hour
  • $41,600 to $52,000 annually
